A motorcyclist has died after a Sunday afternoon crash near Ashland.
Authorities say the cyclist, 31 year old Aaron Roth of Omaha, was westbound on Highway 6 around 2:30 when a deer jumped out of a ditch and on to the highway. Roth attempted to swerve and avoid the deer, but lost control of the motorcycle. The bike then caught fire and hit a guardrail. Roth was pronounced deceased at the scene.
