An 18 year old woman is recovering after suffering a head injury when she fell from a moving vehicle early Sunday morning at 72nd and Sorensen Parkway.
Just after 3:00 a.m. Omaha Police say a 1999 Buick Century was westbound on Sorensen. According to other people in the vehicle, the front seat passenger was sitting with her upper body outside the window. She proceeded to climb onto the roof and then slid down the windshield onto the hood.
The others in the car claim she did this of her own free will and that she does this often. Jasaun Thompson fell off the hood while the vehicle was still in motion and struck her head on the pavement.
She was transported to Nebraska Medicine by OFD medics. Alcohol use by Thompson is being investigated as a factor.
