At least one person was seriously injured in a truck crash on the eastbound I-480 bridge heading into Council Bluffs Friday morning.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. and involved a pickup truck and a semi. Initial reports indicate the pickup rear-ended the semi.
Traffic on eastbound 480 was shut down as emergency crews from Omaha and Council Bluffs responded to the crash site.
Police are advising motorists in the area to look for alternate routes. This could impact the drive to the College World Series.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
