Omaha fire investigators say an early morning house fire on Thursday was intentionally set.
Fire crews were called to the vacant home on 17th and Fowler just before 1:30 and when they arrived found heavy smoke pouring from the structure. Crews were able to get the fire under control in about fifteen minutes, with the blames heavily damaging only one side of the house.
No one currently lives in the home and no injuries were reported. Investigators found several points of origin of the fire inside. No arrests have been made. Damage is estimated at $7,500.
