One person is safe after escaping from a burning home Thursday morning and authorities are now working to determine what caused that fire near 46th and B streets.
Emergency crews were called to the home just after 8:00 and upon arrival, found quite a bit of smoke but little in the way of flames.
Investigators say the home will be temporarily uninhabitable, through at least Thursday evening, and they are working to determine a cause.
The extent of damage has yet to be determined. No injuries were reported.
