The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office has identified the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Highway 6 near Waverly on Sunday.
51-year-old Ronald Corum Jr., of Greenwood died when the motorcycle he was on collided with another vehicle. The accident happened shortly after 5 p.m. just east of Waverly on Highway 6 between 148th Street and 162nd Street.
The sheriff's office said when first responders arrived, they found an eastbound motorcycle had collided nearly head-on with a westbound Ford Excursion in the westbound lane.
Corum Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Excursion, 44-year-old Mark Leavitt of Lincoln, and one of his six passengers were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The investigation into the crash continues.
