Man Sentenced For Three Omaha Bank Robberies

A man convicted of robbing three Omaha banks over the course of one week last November has been sent to prison.

25 year old Wayne Rolling has been sentenced to 64 months in jail.  He will also receive supervised release for three years and has been ordered to make restitution to the banks.

Rolling robbed two SAC Federal Credit Unions and a First National Bank of Omaha. All three were located in Hy-Vee stores.  Rolling was arrested a few hours after the last robbery at 79th & Cass.

In each hold up Rolling was not armed.  Employees told officers the suspect approached the counter and passed a note demanding money. He then fled after receiving cash.
