The Bellevue man who turned himself in to police after killing his wife was denied bail during his first court appearance Thursday morning.
Brandon Norton was ordered to be held without bond while authorities continue to located his wife, Jennifer Norton. Norton was charged with Second Degree Murder after he turned himself in Tuesday night.
Norton surrendered to authorities at the Sarpy County Jail saying he had killed his wife at their home near 15th and Main in Bellevue, but investigators have yet to locate a body.
A public defender was appointed and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for June 26th.
