Nebraska Athletics Reveal Details Of Scott Frost Contract

Husker coach Scott Frost has some big incentives to build a successful football program. 

The University of Nebraska has revealed details about Frost's seven year, $35 million contract, which includes some big payouts if he leads the team to a couple important games.   

Frost stands to receive an extra $100,000 if the Huskers win the Big Ten West Division Title, and a conference championship game win will net him an additional $300,000. If the Huskers make it all the way to the College Football Playoff National Championship and win, Frost will receive a $650,000 bonus.

Other incentives include: 

  • Appearance in Big Ten Conference Game: $200,000
  • Bowl Game: $150,000
  • College Football Playoff Bowl Game: $250,000
  • College Football Semi-Final Bowl Game: $300,000
  • College Football National Championship Game: $350,000
