Bond Set For Suspect in Officer Involved Shooting

The man accused of ramming two police cruisers last Saturday near 20th and Q had bond set at $350,000.  Police received a tip that the GI Forum was going to be robbed.  When police arrived two cruisers were struck by the driver of a stolen vehicle.  Two officers opened fire and hit 26 year old Jacob Osbon. 

Osbon was rushed to a hospital for treatment and released on Tuesday.  He was then booked and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, felony criminal mischief and a number of weapons charges. 

Omaha Officers Jacob Chong and Mathew Stigge are identified as the officers that fired shots.  Officers Robert Wiley and Anthony White also responded to the incident.  They remain on administrative duty as the investigation continues.  No officers were injured.
