Security Reminders For Fans Coming To Big Ten Tournament

Beguinning Wednesday TD Ameritrade Park Omaha will welcome fans from across the country for the Big Ten Conference Baseball Tournament.  To make getting into the stadium easier, visitors should be aware of new security procedures,  implemented since the last conference tournament in 2016.

There is now a clear bag policy.  Items permitted into the stadium will include clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags. Also, small clutch-sized bags will still be allowed after proper inspection.

In addition,  security personnel will begin "wanding" guests entering the stadium.

Uncolored clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags permitted after search (when applicable)

Diaper bags must also adhere to these guidelines

Small or clutch-sized purses or wallets, not exceeding 4.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches long are permitted

One-gallon, clear plastic freezer bags are also acceptable

No large purses, bags, backpacks or fanny-packs will be allowed inside the stadium

Exceptions will be made for bags with medical necessity after appropriate inspection.  Fans are encouraged to beat the rush of last minute arrivals by coming early, and budgeting additional time for security screenings.

Due to the warm temperatures expected, fans can bring in an empty plastic water bottle and there will be three water bottle filling stations around the stadium.
