A former Sarpy County prosecutor appeared in court Monday to file a plea on a number of charges
Jennifer Hessig had been up against two counts of Domestic Violence and five counts of Child Neglect when she was in court last August. She's now pleaded no contest to Disorderly Conduct and four counts Disturbing the Peace.
Prosecutors say Hessig got into a fight with her husband, Bellevue Police Detective Harold Hessig, at their home last July. Charges had been filed against her husband as well, but those have since been dismissed.
Jennifer Hessig resigned from her position as a Sarpy County prosecutor after the incident.
