Four juveniles are recovering after a boating accident in Cass County over the weekend.
Around 5:00 Saturday evening, the four were riding on an inner tube being pulled behind a boat when they were thrown off as the boat made a wide turn on Lake Waconda.
All four of the inner tube riders were taken to Omaha's Nebraska Medicine. Two of the juveniles were treated and released, the other two suffered broken bones and are being held for observation. None of the injuries sustained were considered life-threatening.
Alcohol is not considered a factor in the accident. The names of those involved have not been released and the incident remains under investigation.
