Part of a popular metro trail will be closing starting on Monday.
Beginning Monday, the Papio-Missouri Natural Resources District will close the section of trail at Chalco Hills. The portion of trail that will be closed is along the old 156th street right-of-way inside the recreation area. The closure will allow crews to remove the existing asphalt trail and replace it with a wider section of concrete.
This section of trail will be closed for approximately three to four weeks.
