Omaha Police are looking for a suspect who wasn't quite successful in disguising himself, or getting away with the cash Monday night.
Officers responded to the Hamilton Food Mart at 49th and Hamilton just before 11:30 after a report of a robbery where the suspect fired a gun. Police spoke with an employee and customer, determining that the suspect entered the store and fired a handgun. The suspect then took the customer's wallet and attempted to rob the store before leaving on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 40's or 50's, wearing a black cap and black shirt. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 444-STOP.
