Tuesday is the primary election day in Nebraska. Registered voters are eligible to vote for all candidates regardless of party affiliation.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can find your polling place here. A complete list of all the candidates running for election can be seen here.
One of the key races is in the 2nd Congressional District where Democrats Brad Ashford and Kara Eastman will square off. The winner will face Republican Don Bacon in November.
On the Republican side, stare senator John Murante will face 2017 Omaha mayoral candidate Taylor Royal. There will also be a $410 million OPS bond issue for voters to decide. The money would renovate several schools and build five new ones.
There is also a $227 million City of Omaha bond issue to improve streets parks and pay for park improvements, sewers and public safety.
