Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Expansion

Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital has served western Iowa for 130 years and today they announced an expansion.  They plan to build a 60,000 square foot, three story medical office building along Ridge, Kanesville and East Pierce Streets.

President and CEO Steven Baumert says construction on the $16 million project should start later this year.

Baumert says, "The first floor of the medical office building will be home to approximately fifteen Methodist Physicians Clinic primary care providers.  It will also include a new imaging suite as well as a new urgent care with extended hours.  The second floor of the medical office building will be dedicated to women's services.  This floor of the building will be a hub for women's services, OBGYN and specialty practices and imaging services like mammography and ultra-sound."   Plans for the third floor will be announced at a later date.

The new facility is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2020.
