A Lincoln teen is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a creek over the weekend.
Lincoln Police say just before 5:00 Saturday afternoon, two men were walking along a creek near 1st and Superior when they spotted the teen face up in the creek. Emergency crews responded and found the girl to still be breathing, but very cold and unresponsive.
It was not clear how the girl ended up in the creek or how long she had been there, but she had been attending an event at Parkview Christian High School, just a few blocks from the creek.
The teen was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition. Lincoln Police say as of Monday, there is no update to her condition.
