Six People Shot During Omaha House Party

Omaha Police say six people were injured by gunfire that broke out during a house party near 32nd and Decatur late Saturday night.

Officers were called to the home shortly before 11:30 p.m. but no victims were located at the scene. Dispatchers then notified the officers that victims had begun turning up at area hospitals seeking treatment.

Police tracked them to three hospitals.  The victims said they heard gunshots but did not see the shooter. All of those injured are expected to recover. A seventh victim had a minor injury but medical personnel were not able to determine if it was cause by gunfire.

The victims are identified as:

  • Mani Smith-Pittman, 19
  • Kaleb Johnson, 21
  • Jacobe Hollingsworth, 21
  • Moriah Clark-Dismuke, 19
  • Kalyn Knutson, 17
  • Lydia Ruiz, 16
  • C'Jai Payne, 18 (possible non-gun related injury)
