Update: Four Year Old Girl Critically Injured In West Omaha Crash

Omaha police have identified the victims in this morning's crash that injured three at 172nd and Q.  Sergeant Doug Klein says an eastbound pickup slammed into the back of a Hyundai Elantra around 11:30. 

He says four year old McKinley Blue of Omaha was riding in a booster seat and suffered critical head injuries.  The girl's grandmother,  63 year old Sandra Metz of Glenwood, Iowa, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the Dodge Ram pickup is identified as 70 year old Jerry Lynn of Mead, Nebraska.  He was also taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Lynn told police his foot slipped off the brake pedal and onto the accelerator which propelled the pickup truck into the back-end of the Hyundai.
