Drug Dog's Nose Sniffs Out 263 Pounds Of Pot

A man and woman are facing charges after an I-80 traffic stop led to a major marijuana bust. Shortly before 5:00 p.m. Wednesday a Nebraska State Patrol trooper pulled over an eastbound, flatbed pickup for following another vehicle too closely.

A patrol K9  was brought in and sniffed out 263 pounds of marijuana sealed in packages and hidden inside a compartment in the flatbed. The search also turned up six pounds of butane hash oil. The Patrol says the pot has an estimated street value of $657,000.

35 year old Courtney Passiglia of Columbia, Missouri was behind the wheel. Passiglia her passenger, 39 year old James Conry of Brookfield, Illinois were both were arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
