The Fremont County Sheriffs Office would like to invite everyone of all ages to our 2nd Annual Foot Pursuit K9 5k Fun Run/Walk June 9th 2018. Registration and check in starts at 7:30AM with the race beginning at 8AM. The registration fee is $25 and can be done online at www.thefootpursuitk95k.com or go to their facebook page “The Foot Pursuit K9 5k” and print off the form and mail in to Carissa Buttercase PO Box 663, Sidney IA 51652, with that you receive a t-shirt if registered by May 20th 2018, if you register after May 20th through the day of the race the fee is $30 and no guarantee of a shirt. Please make checks payable to Fremont Co K9 Unit Fundraiser. This is not only a 5k but they will also have a K9 demonstration for the public, there will also be prizes to be won, raffle items, auction table, and food. This will all take place at the Sidney IA Legion Club up by the Sidney IA rodeo grounds. This fundraiser is to keep our officers and our K9s equipped with safe gear and making sure they have the equipment they need to keep themselves as well as our community safe.
