A night in ended with a home invasion for one group on Lincoln friends.
Lincoln Police say at 10:30 Sunday night, officers were called to an apartment near 46th and Prescott Avenue for a robbery. The 20 year old victim told officers he was hanging out with his friends when there was a knock at the apartment door.
When the victim opened the door five individuals pushed their way into the apartment and knocked the victim to the floor. He said all five intruders were wearing black masks and at least one was armed with a handgun.
The victim ran to a nearby gas station for help. A 22 year old female victim reported that one of the intruders hit her in the head with a metal object causing a two inch gash, which required staples to close.
A PlayStation 4, cellphone and purse were stolen before the robbers fled on foot. No arrests have been made yet in this case.
