A group of thieves were able to get away with thousands of dollars in gift cards from a local Target store.
The three suspects hit the Target on 84th near Cornhusker last month and used stolen credit cards to knock over the store.
The trio came with several credit cards stolen from a car in Omaha, but their shopping spree wasn't for merchandise. The suspects make nine separate transactions to buy a total of $4,600 in Target gift cards.
The self check out registers allowed the suspects to make such large purchases without raising red flags. Security cameras captured photos of the suspects and their getaway car.
Police are asking anyone who can identify the suspects involved to call Sarpy county Crime Stoppers at 402-592-STOP.
