No open burns will be allowed within Omaha city limits over the next few days.
Due to high winds and the threat of severe weather, the Omaha Fire Department has issued a burn ban within city limits. The ban is in effect from Tuesday until 7:00 AM Thursday, May 3rd.
The fire department is asking residents to stay safe by following the burn ban.
