Omaha Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that struck and critically injured a woman just before 9:00 Sunday night at 52nd and Ames Avenue.
Police say 40 year old Lisa Hudgins was crossing from south to north when she was struck by a westbound vehicle travelling in the curb lane on Ames Avenue. The driver of vehicle, described as a white Toyota with dark tinted windows, took off and continued traveling westbound.
Hudgins suffered a head injury and is in critical condition. Anyone with information about the vehicle is urged to contact the Omaha Police Traffic Unit at 402-444-5627.
