Teen Connected To Lincoln Homicide Arrested In Mississippi

A teen suspected of shooting a Lincoln man to death has been arrested in Mississippi. 

Lincoln Police say that sixteen year old Natavian Morton was taken into custody by local authorities in Gulfport, Mississippi on Monday. 

Police believe Morton shot and killed 22 year old Edgar Union Jr. in the College View area on March 26.

Morton is facing charges of Second Degree Murder, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Unlawful Discharge of a Weapon. He is currently being held in Mississippi, but will be transported back to Lincoln at a later date.

Two other juveniles have already been arrested for their connection to the shooting.
