Fans coming to the Jack White concert at Omaha's Baxter Arena Monday night won't be able to use their phones to record video or take pictures during the show.
White has a new policy of creating a distraction-free, 100 percent human experience. Fans will only be able to call, text or send tweets from a designated area.
When concertgoers enter the arena, they’ll be required to place their phones in locked pouches provided by the San Francisco company Yondr. Fans can take their pouched devices into the arena, but if they want to use them, they will have to go back to one of the designated Yondr zones on the concourse or in the lobby and a representative will unlock the pouch.
For fans who want to post pictures of the concert White has an official tour photographer who will post photos and videos after the show to White’s website and Instagram account.
