The family of a missing Omaha woman has not given up hope that they will find the mother of three. Camisha Hollis' family says new information in the case will help them focus their search for her.
Hollis has been missing for more than two weeks and this Sunday Camisha's mother, Martha Hollis, will be out looking for her daughter. Martha says friends, family and strangers will gather in Walnut, Iowa to look for Camisha.
The elder Hollis tells 6 News they have turned their attention to Iowa because of information she got from the Omaha Police Department regarding Camisha's boyfriend. "That's where the person was who was probably with Camisha. I was told it had a ping to his phone and that it rang in Walnut, Iowa."
Martha says that cell phone belongs to Marvin Young, who is currently behind bars for child neglect. He was arrested after police discovered that the day Camisha went missing, he had left their three children at home alone.
Young has not been named as a suspect in the case, but the couple's oldest daughter told police that she heard her father beating her mother the night Camisha disappeared. Police said they found drops of Hollis' blood in the couple’s home as well as two spent shell casings.
