A shooting in the parking lot of the Irvington Walmart Wednesday afternoon left a woman in extremely critical condition.
The call of a shooting came in just before 5:00 p.m. near 99th and Military Road. Lt. Amy Otter says the victim, a woman in her 20's, was in her vehicle when she was shot. She drove away but crashed into another vehicle.
Otter believes the woman was in a dispute with someone else in another part of town and was followed to the Walmart parking lot.
Otter says they are trying to identify the suspect and the vehicle they left the scene in. Officers arriving on the scene were performing CPR on the woman until paramedics arrived.
The store was cleared of customers and closed down for the investigation.
