Nebraska football coach Scott Frost says a player was taken to the hospital after colliding with another player during practice Tuesday morning.
Frost said they hope it is just a precautionary measure. He said the collision happened during the non-tackle practice and that it was an accident and not a malicious play.
The player's name and the extent of the injury are unknown at this time. Frost said more details will be released after he speaks with the players family and checks on the player's status.
