It has been eight years since Dana College abruptly shut their doors and closed up shop. Now, students could soon bring life back to the Blair, Nebraska campus.
Over the weekend, Charis University officials announced their plans to establish their new university on the old campus. According to the university, the school "has been formed and launched by Alumni of Grace University with a heart for the traditions and Biblical Foundation that incoming Grace students could count on for 75 years."
The faith-based University will keep operating costs low by offering both on-campus and online courses. Charis hopes to have a plan in place with a partner university by the end of month, with students possibly able to enroll by August.
