Vehicle Used In Deadly Hit And Run Located

The SUV involved in a deadly hit and run crash Wednesday morning has been located. 

Omaha Police say they located the 2001 Ford Explorer on Wednesday night. Police say the vehicle is registered to Luis Velasquez-Ortiz, but that no arrests have been made yet. 

The crash at 32nd and Q claimed the life of 31 year old Juan J. Moreno-Tamayo. Rescue crews were called to the scene at around 6:40 and Moreno-Tamayo was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say that Moreno-Tamayo was eastbound on Q Street on his Honda CBR motorcycle and the Ford Explorer was northbound on 32nd. Investigators say the Explorer ran a stop sign and hit the motorcycle in the intersection.
