Omaha Police say the motorcyclist killed in a hit and run crash at 32nd and Q Street Wednesday morning was 31 year old Juan Moreno-Tamayo.
Police say the Moreno-Tamayo was eastbound on Q Street around 6:40 a.m. and the other vehicle involved was northbound on 32nd. They collided in the intersection.
Omaha Police Lt. John Sokolik says the suspect vehicle drove westbound for one block and then went north on 33rd. Investigators say Moreno-Tamayo was wearing a DOT approved helmet. An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
Witnesses described the run vehicle as blue 2001 Ford Explorer Sport two door SUV WITH NE plate # UKE591. The vehicle has damage to the driver's side.
