Family And Friends Of Missing Woman Continue Search For Clues

Friends and family of missing Omaha mother Camisha Hollis continued their hunt for clues into her disappearance on Sunday. Hollis has not been seen or heard from since April 2nd.

Groups organized focused searches on bodies of water by trails and trees, but organizers didn't find any new evidence. Despite not finding any new evidence, they say they have not given up hope in their search for answers.

Hollis' car was found in the 402 Hotel parking lot near 22nd and Douglas just before 5:00 Thursday afternoon. Police are asking residents and businesses in that area to save any surveillance video they might have. If you have footage from that time-frame or any other information on Camisha Hollis’ disappearance, call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 402 444-STOP.

Hollis’ boyfriend Marvin Young remains behind bars on charges of Child Abuse by Neglect, Disturbing the Peace and Criminal Mischief. Hollis and Young have three children and according to information from court last week, Young allegedly gave the children sleep aids on the last night Hollis was seen. The oldest child spit hers out and said she heard Hollis being beaten. Police said they found drops of Hollis’ blood in the home as well as two spent shell casings.

Camisha Hollis’ mother, Martha Hollis, went to the couple’s home the day of Camisha's disappearance and found the children there alone.

An Endangered Missing Advisory was posted for Hollis and describes Camisha Hollis as being 34 year old, approximately 5'6" tall, approximately 195 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. Hollis is typically seen wearing Victoria Secret "Pink" clothing and has a tattoo on her left forearm.
