Sleepy Driver Cited After Interstate Crash

Two people were injured after a three vehicle crash around 10:20 Friday night near I-80 and 36th Street. Investigators say a 2005 Pontiac G6 sedan was eastbound traveling at a low speed and possibly not moving when it was rear-ended by a 2011 Chevy Cruze sedan.

The driver of a 2004 Nissan Altima, which was traveling next to the Chevy, took evasive action and swerved to the left, striking the center concrete median. The Chevy and Pontiac came to rest in the middle of the interstate.

The driver of the Pontiac, 24 year old Katty Dah-Glodjinon of Omaha, was treated for aches and pains. She told investigators that she was sleepy and believes to fell asleep just prior to the crash. She was cited for impeding traffic.

The unrestrained driver of the Nissan, 43 year old Rosario Campuzano of Omaha, was treated for facial fractures.  she was cited for no driver's license and no valid registration.

The driver of the Chevy was not injured.
