The son of Hollywood stars Sean Penn and Robin Wright is in trouble with Nebraska law enforcement.
On Wednesday, 24 year old Hopper Penn and his girlfriend, 26 year old Uma Von Wittkamp, were pulled over by a Nebraska State Patrol trooper on I-80 in Hamilton County. During the stop, the trooper reportedly detected drug activity inside the vehicle and searched the vehicle. Inside the car, the trooper found fourteen grams of marijuana, four amphetamine pills and three grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms.
Von Wittkamp was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Penn was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony, and Possession of Marijuana.
They were both taken to the Hamilton County Jail, but were bonded out on Thursday. Hopper has struggled with substance abuse in the past, but last year credited Sean's tough love approach for helping him get clean.
