Woman Arrested For Setting Cars On Fire

An Omaha woman is behind bars after being caught setting cars on fire in North Omaha.

On Saturday, Omaha Police officers found 33 year old Nicole Tuttle setting cars on fire near in a lot near Moya Tires near 40th and Lake.

Moya Tires owner Irma Moya Gonzalez tells 6 News she saw Tuttle walking by the cars in her lot and says she is thankful the police drove by at the right time. “They’re my best friends, too. They saved the day. They were doing their job. I’m very happy,”

A police report about the incident states that Tuttle told police she thought the cars were following her, which is why she set them on fire. Officers found a gas can next to the car and several lighters in Tuttle's possession, as well as what they believe is methamphetamine.

Gonzalez says she won't press any charges against Tuttle. “I have no grudge against her or anything. I can’t press any charges because I’m sure she needs more help, and I’m sure she’s probably going to get it where it’s at.”

No one was injured during the incident. Tuttle is facing charges for Possession and three counts of Arson.
