Some Nebraskans Digging Out From Spring Snow

Residents in parts of Nebraska today are digging out after an Easter Sunday snow storm.  Up to 11 inches of snow fell on parts of southern Nebraska yesterday leading to dozens of crashes on state highways.

Authorities say an 84-year-old woman died when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow, and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck on Highway 30 in Grand Island.

The Nebraska State Patrol says it assisted nearly 70 motorists during yesterday's winter weather.
