A twelve year old Nathan Hale student had to be removed from school after admitting he was high on LSD.
On Friday afternoon, Omaha Police officers were called to Nathan Hale Middle School after it was reported that a student had taken the hallucinogenic drug. The student insisted that he 'smoked LSD' before school, but school staff said he didn't start displaying affects of the drug until about 11:30 AM.
The student would not tell officers who he got the drugs from, but was adamant that it was before school because he had been in trouble before for doing drugs at school. The boy was suspended in January for smoking marijuana during school.
The boy was taken to the hospital to seek medical attention.
