If you're looking for something to do with your family this Easter weekend the Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland will open for the season on Friday.
The park offers North American wildlife viewing from the comfort of your own vehicle. During a four mile drive, visitors will see animals in their natural habitats, including elk, sandhill cranes, swans and bison. The newest exhibit this year that visitors can explore is Prairie Dog Town.
Midway through the park, guests can take advantage of nice weather and explore on foot. There are two miles of hiking trails at Wolf Canyon, which features six grey wolves and two American black bears. There is also an eagle aviary that has four bald eagles.
The park is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily from March 30 through October. Admission prices are $5.50 for children 3-11, $7.50 for adults 12 and over and $6.50 for seniors 65 and over.
