A woman was seriously injured Thursday night after being struck by a Metro bus near 13th and Dodge. Omaha Police say 62 year old Patricia McGuire was crossing Dodge Street from south to north on the west side of 13th Street at a marked crosswalk around 7:15.
Investigators say the Metro bus was turning left onto westbound Dodge Street when it struck McGuire. She was taken to the hospital with a head laceration, skull fracture, minor brain bleed, hand fracture and rib fracture.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The accident remains under investigation.
