Two men have been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of a man at a Council Bluffs homeless shelter.
Council Bluffs police were called to to the Joshua House Wednesday night and found 44-year-old Lee Johnson dead outside the building. Investigators said Johnson had multiple, deep lacerations to his face and neck.
Joshua House staff directed officers to Vance Good and Brandon Hollis, who were both still inside the facility. Police say Good and Johnson got into a fight inside the Joshua House. Investigators believe Good used a sharp instrument to fatally wound Johnson. Police said Good and Hollis then carried Johnson’s body out of the building to dispose of it in the parking lot.
Good was booked on one count of Murder 1st Degree and Hollis was booked for one count of being an Accessory After the Fact. The Joshua House is a 24‐hour men’s emergency homeless shelter. Johnson, Good and Hollis were all signed into the facility to spend the night.
