A ten year old boy was killed in a two vehicle crash in Lincoln Friday morning. It happened just after 6:30 at North Cotner Blvd near Leighton Ave when a car collided with a pickup truck.
Police say the driver of a sedan was ejected and the 10-year-old passenger was trapped. Lincoln Fire and Rescue transported the driver and 10-year-old to the hospital with life threatening injuries. The boy died at the hospital.
The driver of the pickup did not have serious injuries. Investigators are still on scene interviewing witnesses to determine how the accident happened.
