Omaha police are investigating a carjacking that happened around 11:20 Friday night in the parking lot of the Guaca Maya restaurant at 5002 South 33rd Street.
The victim told police he was sitting inside his vehicle with another man. There was a struggle and the victim, 22 year old Gerson Sagastume was stabbed by the suspect. Sagastume got out of the 2005 Nissan Titan and the suspect got behind the wheel and took off.
Sagastume was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The search for the suspect continues.
