No one was injured after fire damaged a house near 38th and Franklin Wednesday morning. Firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the second story when they arrived.
They were able to quickly put it out. Four adults and three children were home at the time and were able to evacuate before fire crews arrived. Four other children were not home at the time.
The Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the family. Investigators say the fire is accidental and was caused by an electrical malfunction
