Omaha police say six people were injured when a car plowed into a group of people in a lounge parking lot near 96th and Q Street early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to investigate a report of a vehicle fleeing after running over several people in the XO Lounge parking lot around 2:45 a.m.
Police said two victims were transported to Bergan Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and three victims were driven to the same hospital for treatment. The sixth victim showed up at Methodist Hospital.
La Vista police stopped the suspect vehicle, a silver Kia, near 84th and Brentwood. Omaha police interviewed 23 year old Bolis Macheik and booked him for six counts of felony assault, six counts of use of a weapon to commit a felony and one count of DUI.
Police said the passenger, 23 year old Marko Deng was in the suspect vehicle and was booked for six counts of accessory to a felony.
