An Omaha woman was seriously injured in a one car crash at 13th and Atlas shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.
Investigators say 42 year old Angela Welch was northbound on 13th in a Honda Accord when she failed to stay in her lane. The car began to slide and the driver's side door of the vehicle slammed into a wooden power pole.
Welch was taken to the hospital with possible serious head injuries. Police say alcohol and driving too fast for the road conditions were factors in the crash.
