He represented Anthony Garcia during the convicted killer's murder trial. Now former Omaha attorney Jeremy Jorgenson has been arrested on suspicion of child abuse.
Jorgenson was arrested Monday on suspicion of intentional child abuse. According to a police report obtained by NewsRadio 1110 KFAB, officers were called to a home in the Field Club neighborhood Sunday evening after a 7-year-old boy had suffered a broken left arm.
Police say the child was injured when he was placed in "time-out" earlier in the day. In early February, Jorgenson was suspended indefinitely from practicing law based on his failure to appear for oral arguments in a federal court case.
