Man With History Of Being Naked In Public Arrested Again

A man with a history of shedding his clothes in public has been arrested again. On Thursday afternoon Omaha Police responded to a report of a naked, intoxicated man in the Brandeis Building food court on 16th Street in downtown.

They arrested 39 year old Shawn Noble for Disorderly Conduct and Indecent Exposure. He was reportedly threatening staff and customers.  The property manager told police a frantic employee had alerted her to a naked man in a men's bathroom.

The manager told police she went to investigate and the man in question walked out of the bathroom, "without a single piece of clothes on." She said she told him to go back in and get dressed and he became aggressive, lunging at her. He reportedly used obscene language and threatened to assault staff.

At some point, Noble wound up back in the restroom. That's where police found him. He agreed to get dressed and come out.  He was then arrested. Police say he repeatedly made threats to officers during the subsequent investigation and booking.

Last March Police say Noble went into the Subway Sandwich Shop at 19th and Douglas. In that incident he walked into the shop, ordered a sandwich, went into the bathroom, walked out naked, then went back in, peeking out through the door.

He was arrested and booked for Indecent Exposure and Trespassing and served a 180 sentence in that case.
